Using mostly natural lighting and subtle editing we like to produce flattering skin tones, and subtly muted colour palettes to create a timeless elegance that will never fade.

Documentary wedding photography is about capturing moments in a way that creates timeless and precious memories that happen naturally, without direction or intervention from the photographer. We take this approach most of the day with a few bits of natural direction to enhance the images or video.
We shoot weddings in a creative, documentary style creating a narrative from the events that unfold around us. We photograph and film the small details as well as the big moments, all in the same unfussy and approachable way. We try not to get in the way and only give a little direction on small sections of the day. Whether you’re having a wedding in Hertfordhsire or are getting married anywhere on the planet, we would love to hear from you.

How do we book you?
If you connect with our work and philosophy, reach out through the contact form and let’s start a conversation. We hope to connect with 20-25 couples each year so that we can fully invest excitement and care to each couple. To reserve your date, we require a signed digital contract and paid online invoice, 20% of the package. We can be booked up to 1 ½ years in advance.

We are both camera shy!
Nearly every couple shares this concern before their wedding. We welcome this! It’s our job to make you feel like yourselves and we have a decade of experience to do just that! We will give you all the guidance you need as a unique couple and the space to reflect when you need it most.

We believe the best photos are created within the context of a story – your story! We take the time to understand who you and your partner are and your journey towards falling in love so that we can make images that represent YOU! Your good sides, the way you hide your head in his chest, and all unique ways that make you perfect for one another.

How long will it take to receive our photos and films after the event?
We understand you’re excited to see your photos! Our typical turnaround time is 6-10 weeks for wedding photos, and 2-3 weeks for pre-shoot sessions. We take great care in editing each image and film to ensure they meet our high standards. You’ll receive a photo sneak peek gallery within a week after your event to tide you over while we complete the full gallery and films.
